Seven Card Stud Poker
7 Card Stud - explanations and rules:
Seven Card Stud Poker
is played with four opened and
three blind cards per participant. At the beginning
of the game (before the cards are dealed) each player
has to place the ante. Than the cards are dealed and
each player of seven card stud poker gets 2 blind and
one opened card. The player sitting on the left side
next to the dealer gets the cards first, afterwards
it continues clockwise.
Now the first betround starts, and the poker player
with the lowest uncovered card starts with the forced
bet. After that, the players have the opportunity to
rais, call or fold.
After the first complete raise, there are only three
more raises possible if there is a limit. If this round
is over, each player gets the fourth card, which is
also a opened uncovered one. (fourth street)
In this and the now following bet rounds the player
with the highest opened card always starts to act, by
checking or betting. After the first player acted, the
whole thing starts again and every participant has the
option to fold, call or raise.
After this second bet round, the fifth street will be
dealed, which means that each player gets a third uncovered
card.
The following betround works the same way like the betround
before.
Now the next betround follows and each player gets a
uncovered card again. Afterwards the game continues
with the third an fourth bet round. If the fourth bet
round is over, each player gets a 7th card, which is
blind again. (now each player has 3 blind cards)
After the upcomming last betround the showdown follows
and the player with the highest poker hand gets the
pot!
